Currently Reading: Love Me for Who I Am
Hey. It’s been a while. I’m supposing everyone in this world’s been well?
Oh, who am I kidding? The world is on fire, there’s a global pandemic, life in general sucks for a significant portion of the human race… which means it’s a good time to educate yourself. With manga!
This is the manga that brings me out of my some odd years long blogging hibernation. And it’s a pretty good one, so strap in.
Also, this post is spoiler-FREE, so no worries if you want to have a look at this before you dive into the manga yourself!
Summary: The story focuses on nonbinary high school student Mogumo, who is one day recruited by classmate Tetsu Iwaoka to work at his family’s cafe, Question!. Mogumo agrees, happy to have finally found a place where they belong, until it turns out that they were recruited due to Tetsu’s assumption that Mogumo was a crossdressing boy. Revelations about Mogumo’s identity prompt the entire cast of characters to rethink the preconceptions about gender identity, LGBT issues and their own lives.
