Many an hour of my life has been lost to the original Theatrhythm Final Fantasy for the 3DS. A rhythm game utilizing music from first Final Fantasy to the thirteenth, it was a great little celebration of the franchise and the works its various composers have created.

I couldn’t be more excited for the sequel, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call. Sporting a whopping 200+ songs and over 60 characters to choose from, it looks to up the nostalgia factor significantly. It certainly helps that this time around the game features tracks from spinoffs and direct sequels as well; there’s something for everybody!

Square Enix has just released a new video showing off 20 minutes of gameplay across Final Fantasy to Final Fantasy VII. If you’re looking to get hit with a large nostalgia bomb, I suggest giving it a watch. The video is part one of three, so expect a few more that cover the rest of the series.

Anybody else getting excited for Curtain Call?
